This is my Senior Literature thesis from the University of Dallas, in which I argued that Evelyn Waugh's novel Brideshead Revisited fits into the Classical art form of pastoral. I cited Paul Alpers' discussion of the pastoral genre from his book What is Pastoral to define the genre and support my argument that Brideshead Revisited could be considered a pastoral novel.
I write web pages and blog posts for The Music Studio Atlanta and Courtnay and Rowe Music Academy. Here are a few links to some I've managed recently.
This is a sample lesson plan for teaching the initial basics of piano to a very young student (approximate age 4-8). This lesson plan covers the most basic concepts that a student must know to start learning to play the piano, and is a sample of what a 1st lesson would look like for a student who had never taken lessons before. This lesson could easily be added to and adapted to challenge an older learner.
This is a sample lesson plan for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) for a class of high intermediate level English learners. A lesson plan serves as a guideline for the teacher on what to cover during a class period and how to ensure the material is effectively delivered & students are engaged. It also aids in proper planning & time management.
